Dessert Pear Tree is Highly Resistant to Fire Blight

Why Warren Pear Trees?

One of the most popular dessert pears on the market, the Warren Pear Tree delivers large, juicy pears with a smooth, buttery flavor. Incomparable flavor awaits with the Warren…especially since these pears aren’t gritty like similar varieties.

You can grow your own pears from home. And the biggest benefit? The taste that comes when your pears are naturally tree-ripened, rather than being picked early and refrigerated.

Your tree provides bushels of pears for canning, cooking, and snacking each year. Plus, since the Warren is self-fertile, you won’t need a ton of space to get home-grown fruit of your own. Keeping well for preparation later or perfectly crisp right off the branches, the Warren Pear is second to none.

Even better is the fact that the Warren is super cold hardy, withstanding freezing temperatures down to -20 degrees. And not only is it hardy, but it’s also resistant to fire blight, which causes other pear varieties to die back. So, this amazing tree is a must for home gardeners who want to harvest their own high-quality pears without the need for much maintenance.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

Good luck finding the Warren Pear Tree at your local big-box store. This sweet, buttery dessert pear is highly sought-after and thus, difficult to source from large garden centers.

But when you order your Fast Growing Trees, you get this coveted tree and the guarantee of strong, steady growth for years to come. We’ve planted, grown, and nurtured your Warren Pear Tree for months in advance of shipping. Now, you reap the rewards of our hard work.

The only catch is that these well-branched Warren Pear Trees will sell out, so we recommend that you order yours today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Give your tree a location that features full sun (about 6 hours of sunlight per day) and well-draining soil. From there, dig a hole three times the size and just as deep as the root ball. Plant the tree so that the roots are spread in the hole and the entire root ball is covered with soil. Fill in the hole completely and gently remove air pockets that may have formed by tamping down.

2. Watering: Water your tree as necessary, giving it at least 1 or 2 inches of water once a week. Generally, you should water when the soil is dry about 3 inches down. Do not water the tree after the first frost in the fall.

3. Pruning: When pruning, it’s important to trim the pear tree’s central leader to promote an upright position. If there are any competing branches present, remove them so that multiple leaders do not form. Maintain the tree’s natural shape by pruning large, lateral branches. Dead, dying or wilted branches should always be removed.

4. Harvesting: Your pears should be ready for harvest in August. Watch the fruit regularly, as it will require two to three weeks to harden before harvest. Pick pears when they have reached full color and size and are firm to the touch. Check the tree daily and pick fruit every two to three days until your harvest is complete.
